The clogging of sewer networks, partial or full, is pretty unpleasant inconvenience as it is slowing the drainage of water. The cloggedsewerage is a prerequisite for inundations and corrosion of the pipeline, as well as for the intermittent water pressure in the pipes, leading to your premises. The cloggedsewerage almost always causes an unpleasant odor and deteriorating hygienic conditions. These conditions are favorable environment for breeding of rodents and disease-causing organisms.


The reasons for clogging the sewer might be different - the fallen trashes, dirt, construction garbage and insoluble bodies, accumulated sludge or deposits over the operation, and also reverse or insufficient slope of the pipes inthe installation. Thus on the walls of sewer pipe are forming fat deposits, aggregates are pelleted at the bottom of the sewer, with the consequence of that, its cross section is reduced, the drag which the sewer has on the water is getting worse and hence its permeability.

The drainpipes that are responsible for the distribution of the waste water are arranged in such a way that their pollution is almost inevitable and at some point comes the clogging.
Maintaining all sewer systems in proper condition is an important aspect and gives security and comfort. In case of pollution of a sewer section, its replacement is not the most appropriate solution as the new pipes will soon begin to accumulate deposits just as the previous ones.

The cleaning and unclogging the sewerage is performed by the following methods: mechanical, hydrodynamic, thermal and chemical. The use of any of methods is important in a special situation.

Mechanical cleaning of the pipes means that the removal of the dirt is performed with a steel cable and a metal tip, or fitting. Mechanical cleaning is performed, in cases when the pipe is with diameter of 30 mm to 200 mm, i.e. for smaller sizes. This method is most acceptable for unclogging sewers on removal of roots, rags, grease and accumulation of deposits in the pipes. It uses "riders", mechanical equipment, which scrape or cut the blockages in sewerage.

The hydrodynamic cleaning is also an effective way, and is used in unclogging of varying complexity. The essence of this method consists in washing the pipes with water under high pressure of about 150-300 atmospheres. This cleaning method can be applied in almost all cases, as it does not violate the complex of pipe connections.

The hydrodynamic method involves the use of hoses for suction sewerage under high pressure - the so-called water hoses "jets". The water stream is sprayed on the sewerage and removes the accumulated silt, mud and fragments, spraying and releasing them, as a result they are washed.

The process consists of two components, the first component is pumping water under high pressure, and the second component is a vacuum suction of the transported materials from the sewage pipe. Both processes are performed synchronously and continuously. As already mentioned some of the equipment of the machines for unclogging the sewerage, which should keep the level of quality of the work, are the hoses for unclogging the sewages and the hoses for ejection of the waste materials.
The main criteria for high quality cleaning are:


  • maximum working pressure
  • length
  • safety when assembling the hoses
  • reliability of assemblies
  • pumping capacity
  • used nozzle

Using trucks for unclogging sewerage, equipped with water"jets" are also required for removal of roots that need to be cut off or removed from the clogged sewer. The water "jets" for sewerage are long, flexible hoses for high pressure with nozzle at the one end, the other end is hooked to sprayer or compressor pump of the truck for unclogging the sewerage. In most cases, the nozzle of the hose for unclogging sewage is front-injection.

The hoses for unclogging sewerage must be resistant to high pressures and resistant to the conditions and chemicals, which might be collected in the sewerage.
Method for chemical cleaning is usually used to dissolve and soften the nature of the organic waste by reactive materials and reagents. This method can be used to maintainthe operating conditions of the pipe and to prevent clogging.
